About Saint Teneu
Megan Coghill - Founder & Designer
Hello! I’m Megan, welcome to Saint Teneu.
I discovered my passion for creating fine jewellery when my now-husband proposed & invited me to collaborate on the design of my engagement ring.
One thing led to another, and in 2019 I started Saint Teneu to help other couples bring their dream ring to life!

Ethos
At Saint Teneu, each piece of jewellery is crafted with recycled precious metals and responsibly sourced gemstones.
Committing to donate 10% of net profit has so far contributed over £15,000 to charities in Glasgow and around the world, and proudly continues to support Refuweegee in 2025.
Who was Saint Teneu?
You might know her better as St. Enoch!
An important but often overlooked figure in Glasgow’s history, Saint Teneu was born a princess over 1500 years ago in the ancient kingdom of Gododdin.
She was the mother of Saint Mungo, founder and patron saint of the city of Glasgow, whose miracles are depicted in our coat of arms - the bell, the bird, the tree, the fish, and the gold ring!
You can learn more about Saint Teneu here, and spot her in murals around the city.
…and who is Megan?
Before becoming a jewellery designer, I was an optical design engineer, chemical physics graduate and wedding photographer - the intersection of art & science is my favourite place to be.
Outside of the design studio, you’ll find me learning Italian and enjoying coffee walks around Glasgow’s green places with friends - do say hello, I can’t wait to meet you ☺️
Love, Megan x
